How to clean Evolis card printer？

Learning how to clean your Evolis card printer is very important. It is recommended to clean your card printer when you change your ribbons.
Steps for cleaning Evolis card printer:
1. First, you need to prepare Meditech cleaning kits compatible with Evolis:1 x  cleaning card, 1 x pre-saturated IPA swab(or cleaning pen), sometimes you may need a cleaning roller.
2. Open the printer lid, remove the ribbons.
3. Tear the package of cleaning card, put the cleaning card into the hopper.
4. Open  “Print Preferences” window.
5. Select “Tools” option, and click “printer Self Cleaning” button.
6. The cleaning card will eject automatically when cleaning is done.
7. Tear the package of cleaning swab.
8. Gently move the swab side to side across the printhead.
9. Wait two minutes for the printhead to dry.
10. Reinsert the ribbon spool and close the printer lid.
