How to prevent static damage

With the arrival of winter, static problem occur again in our daily life and work. How to properly use anti-static products like anti-static swabs to control static is what we concerned most right now. We now got various kinds of static control materials and products made by them, though, they can mainly be classified as anti-static mat, anti-static tools, etc. For preventing static damage, we may need the following products:
1.    Anti-static clothing and anti-static wrist strap
Anti-static clothing and wrist strap are important parts of the human anti-static system, which can eliminate and control the generation of static electricity, thereby reduce the most parts of static source in the manufacturing process.
Anti-static clothing includes anti-static overall, split clothing, coat, shoes, hats, gloves, finger stall, wrist strap etc. Anti-static clothing is made of different colored anti-static cloth, which contain a certain percentage of conductive yarns that knitted by a certain proportion of stainless steel fibers or other conductive fibers conductive fibers and ordinary fibers. The static on clothing is eliminated by corona discharge and leakage effect of conductive fibers. Besides, the stainless steel fiber belongs to metal fiber so that its conductivity is stable no matter how many times the clothing is washed.
Anti-static wrist strap is one of the most important anti-static equipment especially when operators touch the electronic components. The secret is the ground path, through which the static generated by human can be released safely. The most important part of anti-static wrist strap is the inner layer of the elastic band, which is knitted by anti-static yarns.
2.    Anti-static packaging and shipping products
Anti-static packaging products is varied, such as anti-static shielding bags, anti-static bags, anti-static foam, anti-static IC packaging tubes, anti-static component boxes etc. These products are mostly made up of static dissipative materials, while others are anti-static materials, except that for anti-static shielding bags.
3.    Anti-static floors and mats
Anti static mats are mainly anti-static compound plates, mainly for desktop capture pad, pipeline operating desk and mats. The material layer is green and the conductive material is anti-static agents while the bottom layer is black with carbon as conductive agent.
Still, there are  also some other anti-static products like esd wipes, esd swabs and anti-static chairs. Especially esd swabs, some times called cleanroom swabs, have been widely used in various industries for cleaning and static elimination programs.
