Cleaning cycle for Datacard CP40, CP60 and CP80 card printer

Datacard CP40, CP60, CP80 series card printer need to clean regularly. It is recommended to clean before a ribbon change or the print quality is poor. You need to prepare Meditech cleaning kits compatible with Datacard : 1 x CR80 cleaning card, 1 x cleaning sleeve. Then run the cleaning cycle as follow:
1.    Open the printer cover, remove the print ribbon cartridge and remove the cleaning roller.
2.    Remove the blank card stock from the input hopper.
3.    Open the cleaning card package and remove the cleaning card.
4.    Insert the cleaning card into the printer.
5.    Select the “Cleaning Card” option and press the “enter” button.
6.    When the cleaning cycle has been completed, replace the ribbon, and replace the cleaning sleeve, and remove the protective paper, then place it back in the printer.
7.    Close the cover and you are ready to print.
