The printer is used a long time, the most likely place of dirty is printer head, if the print head can not be kept clean, it will either affect the print quality, or it will cause damage to the printer. So, how we should clean the print head it? In order to ensure good print quality printer, approximately every 1000 prints, cards will be carried out once clean.

1. Disconnect the printer.
2. Open the printer’s front cover.
3. Remove the ribbon and transfer film frame.
4.The print head cleaning rod extrusion, the cleaning rod front end cotton yarn full of alcohol.
5. Gently wipe the print head back and forth (3-4) with a cleanroom swab, printed with dark brown stripes print head. (Note: Do not wipe the print head with a sharp object, can not be forced to clean the print head over)
6. Wait for the printhead to dry completely after the ribbon and transfer film frame homing, close the front cover.
7. Reconnect the printer power.
